What is Carbon Laser Peel?

The Carbon Laser treatment is a laser procedure that uses a carbon layer as a photo-enhancer to improve the skin’s radiance and promotes a smooth and glowing complexion.

It is delivered by Q-switched Nd:YAG Laser Machine which sends short, rapid and high intensity pulses of light. The combination of light pulses results in the maximal treatment of the skin lesions while preserving the surrounding skin.

How does it work?

Before performing the laser treatment, a layer of carbon lotion is applied on the entire face and allowed to dry over a few minutes. During the procedure, laser light is shot on the skin and is absorbed by the carbon lotion. Multiple tiny explosions of carbon particles release heat on the epidermal layer of skin, exfoliating the skin and removing any debris in the pores. The thermal effect of laser treatment reduces pore size, reduces inflammatory acne, reduce superficial acne scars, acne marks and stimulates collagen growth.
The entire treatment will take approximately 10 minutes.

Is there any downtime?

You are able to resume your normal activities right after the treatment. Some patients may experience slight redness after the treatment, which is temporary.
